POSITION: Locally Engaged Employee (Vietnamese) Level 6

POSITION TITLE: Visa and Citizenship Assessor


The Visa and Citizenship Section of the Australian Consulate-General is seeking applications from suitably qualified Vietnamese citizens for vacancies that are available or may occur at the Locally Engaged Employee Level 6 (LEE6).

Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they are self-motivated, well organised and able to work well within a team that has to meet dead lines within a dynamic and large case load. This is a full time long term position (12 months).

LEE6 are responsible for undertaking a range of operational and administrative processing work, including assessing visa applications and interpreting. The provision of services and advice to clients in writing, by telephone and over our public enquiry counter is a key element of this work.

Fluency in both written and spoken Vietnamese and English is essential.

Selection for the vacancy will be based on merit and judged against specific Selection Criteria.
