Adoption

As there is no formal agreement between Australia and Vietnam regarding adoptions, enquiries regarding adoption of children outside Australia should be directed to the Principal Migration Officer at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) in the Australian Embassy in Hanoi or the Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City.
