PROCESSING TIMES

The target processing times are set dependant on the assessment level of the student.

Assessment Level (AL)                             50% of applications are decided within:                                                                                  75% of applications are decided within:                                                                   
AL 1  7 days 14 days
AL 2 14 days 21 days
AL 3 60 days 90 days
AL 4 60 days 90 days

We aim to process cases within the above timeframes, however actual processing times may vary as the following notes explain:

• The processing times are indicative only. Individual cases may be decided in longer or shorter periods than the above timeframes, depending on a range of factors, individual circumstances and the complexity of each case.

The processing times apply to visa applications lodged with complete documentation. You can expect the processing time to be longer than the advertised processing times if it is lodged with insufficient or inadequate documentation.
