HANOI, 22 June 2007 – “Gelam Nguzu Kazi—Dugong My Son” - an exhibition of limited edition linocuts by Indigenous Australian Artists from Mua Island in the Torres Strait, will show from 28 June to 7 July at the Viet Art Centre, 42 Yet Kieu, Hanoi. See more

International Women's Day Celebration - 7 March 2007

A party held at the Australian Embassy in Hanoi to celebrate the International Women’s Day has received much appreciation of all participants. Guests are from various areas including development cooperation, business, military, immigration, media, arts and government officials.

The party aims to honour the role of women in all fields, said the Ambassador adding that the embassy was delighted to take the opportunity to thank them for their work in strengthening the cooperation between Australia and Vietnam.

 

 


Australia month - January 2007

HANOI – 11 January 2007 - The Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E Mr Bill Tweddell, today launched the start of “Australia Month”, which includes a series of high-proflie public events in Hanoi in January and early February 2007. The events have been organised by the Embassy’s Australian Education International and Public Affairs and Cultural Relations sections, will focus on two of our most interesting areas of cooperation - education and culture.
